Tengrinews.kz – Camera traps have captured rare golden eagles (Aquila chrysaetos) bathing in a reservoir in the Altyn-Emel National Park.
The video has already appeared on the national park’s Instagram page and sparked great interest among social media users. The footage shows the birds of prey dipping into an artificial reservoir located in the protected area.
“As part of ongoing monitoring work carried out in the Altyn-Emel National Park, camera traps recorded video footage of a bird of prey listed in the Red Book — the golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos),” the publication states.

Experts note that such observations help not only to study the behavior of these birds of prey but also to plan conservation measures.
“The obtained data will serve as a basis for planning future actions aimed at improving protection measures for birds of prey, preserving their habitat, and reducing human impact,” the national park added.
