JAC truck smashed into a two-story residential building and broke through the wall in Atyrau, head of Atyrau oblast Interior Department’s press-service Gulnazira Mukhtarova told Interfax-Kazakhstan. The truck driver, trying to avoid hitting a kid who was crossing the road on a bike, abruptly turned the truck to the right and smashed through a window on the first floor of a 2-story building, Mukhtarova said. The driver was delivered to the hospital with different injuries and was allowed to go home after some medical aid. Medical tests proved lack of alcohol in the driver’s blood. There was nobody in the room when the truck hit the wall and nobody was injured in the accident except the driver.
