School bus with 50 kids meets with accident

A car has smashed into a school bus in Almaty oblast, the The Territory of Accidents show of STV channel reports.The accident happened at 13:20 today on a country road between Turar and Arai villages 8 kilometers to the north from the Almaty-Bishkek highway. The MAN passenger bus was carrying around 50 school children from nearby villages. A Volkswagen Passat was driving in the opposite direction, it drove into the wrong side of the road and smashed into the bus. The impact sent the bus in a roadside ditch.According to the preliminary information, around 10 children and the bus driver were slightly injured. The driver of the car (born in 1964) died on the spot.A rescue team of the Kazakhstan Emergency Ministry has already pulled the bus back to the road using hydraulic equipment.
