One of the elite residential blocks on Yessil river bank in Astana has caught fire, Tengrinews.kz reports. According to witnesses, the facing of Arman residential complex was on fire. The smoke spread all over Sary-Arka street. According to one of the witnesses, deputy Prime-Minister and Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev arrived to the accident site. The fire was quenched in less than an hour by 17 vehicles and 50 fire-fighters. According to the Emergency Situations Department, the fire-fighters arrived to the site 5 minutes after they received the message. The building’s external decoration, alucobond, was the part that caught on fire. The total area in flames made 200 square meters.
