A partially collapsed bridge in Kyzylorda oblast has been closed for traffic, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of the Road Police Commission of Kazakhstan Interior Ministry. The bridge over the railroad at the kilometer 1,642 of Shymkent-Samara road partially collapsed at night of March 16 when 2 square meters of its beams gave in. A special commission created to investigate the accident declared the bridge unfit for use until completion of the repair works. It has been closed for the safety reasons. Road signs and fencing has been installed at the road section. The cars are now crossing the railroad via Western Europe-Western China road railway crossing located 3km from the old bridge.
