Luxembourg citizen found dead on Kazakhstan highway

A dead body has been found in a car on Mangistau highway in West Kazakhstan, Tengrinews reports citing Lada.

The body was found several days ago in a Peugeot 106 on Aktau-Akshukur highway. The deceased was a 39-year-old citizen of Luxembourg.

The police ordered a forensic examination but pointed out there were no signs of violent death on the man’s body. The investigation is underway.

The Department of Internal Affairs of Mangistau Oblast declared that the man died from hypothermia. Police added that the man was a traveler.

"This is preliminary data. The investigation is currently underway and all the circumstances of the incident will be known after it is over," the press service of the Oblast Department of Internal Affairs said.
