Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry has commented on the condition of the Red Cross worker who was injured in Yemen, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the Ministry’s press-secretary Ilyas Omarov. “There are no serious concerns about health of the injured Red Cross worker. She is now in the UAE for further treatment,” Ilyas Omarov said. Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry, however, has not confirm that the Red Cross worker wounded in Yemen is a citizen of Kazakhstan, as she has preferred to keep this information confidential. Her name is not being disclosed either. Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that gunmen on a motorbike wounded a Red Cross worker from Kazakhstan when they shot at her vehicle in Yemen's capital Sanaa. According to Russian Foreign Ministry, the woman was wounded in the neck. Witnesses in Sanaa said two gunmen on a motorbike had opened fire at the vehicle carrying the woman and her husband.
