Helicopter makes emergency landing in Almaty oblast

A helicopter made an emergency landing near Bakanas village of Almaty oblast, Tengrinews.kz reports. According to preliminary information, the helicopter had four tourists onboard. No casualties were reported. According to the press-service of the Emergency Situation Department, this was a Bell 206L3 helicopter owned by ZHERSU AVIA. The helicopter made an emergency landing. Kazakhstan Ministry of Transport and Communications reports that the helicopter made an emergency landing near Bakanas village. The helicopter was performing a Burundai-Karaozek flight. No casualties were reported as of 03:00 p.m. today. A team of the Department of Investigations of Aviation Accidents and Incidents of Kazakhstan Transport and Communications Ministry has been dispatched to the accident site. The Bell 206L3 was manufactured by Bell Helicopter TEXTRON, Canada. It can carry 5 people. Its flying range is 588km and the maximum speed is 200km/h. By Roza Yessenkulova
