A field with grain crops caught fire in Bannovka village of Kostanai oblast, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to the Ministry, the fire was extinguished by fire-fighting team of the oblast Emergency Situations Deparment within one hour. The fire destroyed 300 hectares of grain fields. No casualties were reported. Hay storage in Sarterek village of East-Kazakhstan oblast caught fire on August 31. 200 tons of hay was burnt. No casualties were reported.
