During a government briefing, journalists inquired why the injured workers, who suffered severe burns, were transported to the hospital without an ambulance. According to the Minister, the workers were taken to the hospital before the ambulance arrived.
"At that time, before the arrival of the ambulance crew, it was decided to transport the injured using available transport. Medical assistance was provided, and a team led by the director of the Republican Trauma Center was organized quickly. All necessary services were provided on site. We are analyzing the ambulance arrival times and will provide additional information," minisaid.
She added that using non-ambulance transport for the injured was a necessary measure. When asked about the potential risk of infection during transport, the Minister did not provide an answer.
"An ambulance was called, but I can't say how many minutes later it arrived. We are concentrating on the patients in the hospital. The condition of six of them is still serious," Alnazarova said.
Alnazarova also expressed condolences to the family of the deceased worker.
"Unfortunately, one of the injured has passed away. We express our condolences to his family. Medical assistance was provided on the spot, but the burns were so serious that they could be called incompatible with life," she added.
