A fire has happened at ArcelorMittal Temirtau plant in central Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the dispatcher service. A transformer at the substation No.9 caught fire. According to the preliminary information, the fire was caused by a short circuit. No casualties were reported. The investigation is underway. The fire has been quenched. ArcelorMittal Temirtau is the biggest mining-metallurgical company in Kazakhstan. It is an integrated facility with its own coal, iron and energy base.
