Another bomb found in Atyrau suicide bomber's house

Law-enforcement authorities discovered a self-made explosive device, components for assembling of explosives, as well as a manual for their assembling during a search in the house of the suicide bomber, who blew himself up in Atyrau on October 31, Tengrinews.kz reports citing press-service of Atyrau oblast prosecution office. Police has identified the terrorist. “He turned out to be a citizen of Atyrau. Baurzhan Sultangaliyev, born on December 20, 1987. He was identified by his family and identified by finger prints,” the prosecution office's message states. Besides, the authorities confirmed that the explosives that the suicide bomber used to blow himself up did not have any destructive agents inside. The expertise did not find any destructive agents in the bomb that blew up in the garbage can at Kulmanov street either. Islamic group Djund Al-Khalifat (Soldiers of Khalifat) claimed responsibility for both explosions in Atyrau on October 31. According to representatives of the group, the terrorist attack “was just a warning for the government”. Criminal case under Terrorism with the use of explosive or blasting devices charges has been initiated. The terrorists apprehension operation was held in Atyrau at night on November 1. The details of the operations are unknown yet. The investigation is still in process.
