Bad weather and poor visibility have led to a shuttle bus overturning in East Kazakhstan Oblast, killing 4 and injuring 18 of its passengers, Tengrinews reports citing the press service of the Oblast's Emergency Situations Department.
The road accident happened in Urdzhar district on Taskesken – Bakhty highway. The bus was following from Almaty to Makahnchi and later to Kabanbai. It had 25 passengers on board.
According to preliminary data, 18 people were injured and four killed. Among the casualties was one child. The injured were taken to the central hospital in Makanchi village.
Identities of the victims are now being established.
Emergency Response Department, Firefighting Service and Rescue Operations State Body, District Department of the Interior are involved in the investigation at the scene.
