Tengrinews.kz - Will the dollar exchange rate in Kazakhstan affect the cost of tuition in universities? The Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek answered this question on the sidelines of the Mazhilis.
According to the minister, the necessary adjustments have already been made to the budget.
"No, as of today, no (it will not affect - ed.). We have included all the necessary adjustments in the 2025 budget," Nurbek assured.
Earlier, the National Bank stated that there is currently increased volatility in global financial markets, linked to the results of the US presidential election. It was noted that Donald Trump's victory led to a strengthening of the dollar and a weakening of currencies in developing countries, including the tenge.
