The three new schools are the school of engineering, science and technology school and the school of social science and liberal arts," the agency's source said. The main directions of education in the science and technologies school will be physics, chemistry, math, robotics and mechatronics, biology, computer and information science. Students of the school of social science and liberal arts will study politology, international relations, economics, sociaology, anthropology, history, world languages and literature. Nazarbayev University was founded last year in Astana under the initiative of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
