Kazakhstan’s International Academy of Business (IAB) and KIMEP University got into the Top 1000 of world’s best business schools made by Eduniversal rating agency, Tengrinews.kz reports. The French university rating agency has publicized results of its fifth annual ranking of business-schools 2012. The International Academy of Business made it to the 86th place (112 percent) with 3 Palmes out of 5. The university’s business card on the agency’s website now states “Excellent Business School. Nationally strong/or with continental links." This is the fifth time the IAB confirms its title of the best business-school of Kazakhstan since 2008. KIMEP University received 2 Palmes and was ranked 133rd. The University’s card states “Good Business School with regional influence”. The rating includes universities of 154 countries. Best universities were selected by heads of the schools participating in the rating. The universities are divided by major and global academic directions and grouped into 9 geographic zones. Besides, the rating is made by the International Scientific Commission of 9 independent experts selected from among experienced and well-known persons in academic circles of their zone.
