4.9-magnitude earthquake hits 156km from Almaty

A 4.9-magnitude earthquake hit Kyrgyzstan on February 22, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the Seismological Research-Methodical Expedition of Kazakhstan Ministry of Education and Science.The shocks were registered at 11:12 a.m. Astana time. The hypocenter was at the depth of 15km. The epicenter was 156km south-east of Almaty. No casualties were reported.
