3.8-magnitude quake hit 100km from Almaty
3.8-magnitude earthquake hit Almaty oblast, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.The shocks were registered at 09:44 a.m. (Astana time) on November 21. The epicenter was registered at the depth of 1km, 100km west of Almaty and 97km east of Bishkek. No casualties were reported.Earlier Tengrinews.kz reported that a 4.4-magnitude earthquake hit Kyrgyzstan at 09:28 p.m. (Astana time) on November 19. The epicenter was registered at the depth of 1km, 363km south-west of Almaty, 114km east of Osh (Kyrgyzstan) and 68km east of Uzgen (Kyrgyzstan).
