3.4-magnitude earthquake struck Almaty oblast
3.4-magnitude earthquake hit Almaty oblast, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan Center for Collection and Processing of Special Seismic Information.The shocks were registered at 12:13 a.m. (Astana time) on June 21. The quake's epicenter was 170 km north-east of Almaty. On June 14 a 4.6-magnitude earthquake hit China not far from Kazakhstan border. Epicenter of the quake was 1km deep and 330 km south of Almaty and 198 km north-east of Kashi, China. The earthquake was clearly felt in Almaty like a 3-4-magnitude one.
