3.3 earthquake shook Kazakh-Kyrgyz border

A minor 3.3 earthquake was registered at the border between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan very early in the morning on August 8, reported the website of the Center for Collection and Processing of Specialized Seismic Information of the Institute of Geophysical Research of the National Nuclear Center of Kazakhstan. The shock was fest at 2:52 a.m. Astana time. Epicenter of the quake was 50 km to the south-west of Almaty. No damage or casualties have been reported.
