The criminal case on the recent assault on the exchange bureau’s money collector was solved in Almaty., Tengrinews.kz reports citing press-service of Almaty Interior Department.The crime was committed on April 6 close to the exchange point in Almaty. Three criminals hit the cashier with a metal tube. The cashier was also working as the money collector. They hit him on the head with a metal tube and stole his bag with $100 thousand and 7.4 million tenge ($50 thousand).“The criminals beat the head of the 42-year-old victim. He was hospitalized. Witnesses of the crime were identified immediately. They told the police the brand and color of the car used by the criminals,” deputy head of Almaty Interior Department’s Criminal Police Kanat Sarymsakov said.Almaty police has apprehended one suspect, a 30-year-old citizen of Zhambyl oblast, who had earlier been accused of a similar crime. His accomplices have been identified and put on the wanted list.
