Everyone understands, that police has no such weapons, such grenade launchers are used in the army. It could have been brought from Kyrgyzstan. I cannot make any statements yet, this is just an assumption,” Kozhayev said. He also said that the investigation of the terrorist attack in Taraz is led by Kazakhstan General Prosecution office. The criminal case is processed by a special group. Kozhayev noted that Interior Department appointed the most experienced investigators and operative officers to head the special group. The National Security Department will also appoint its officers. “The investigation will be controlled by General Prosecutor and Interior Minister. A powerful investigation group has been formed up,” the speaker stated.
