Two men suspected of the recent armed attack were apprehended in Aktau in the west of Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of the oblast Interior Department. The suspects are currently kept in a temporary detention facility and are being questioned. The criminal case was initiated. The suspects are charged with attempted murder. "The investigation helped identify and apprehend two suspects of commitment of the crime. It was also discovered that the criminals shot their victims from the traumatic weapons," head of Interior Department's press-service Gulzada Toleugaliyeva said. Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that unknown persons attacked a VAZ car from an Opel car and shot the driver and the passenger of the VAZ on October 1. One of the victims was shot in the shoulder and the other in head. The victims are 27 and 28 y.o. It was later discovered that the car that was shot at contained 50 million tenge ($333 thousand).
