Tengrinews.kz - A foreign national wanted for murder has been arrested in Pavlodar, Kazakhstan.
The suspect was detained by officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Department for Combating Extremism and Pavlodar's regional police department.
"It was established that the man had committed a serious crime in Uzbekistan and then fled justice to the Kyrgyz Republic. He later arrived in Kazakhstan. The suspect has been placed in a detention center and will be extradited to Uzbekistan," said Daulet Makin, Head of the Department for Combating Extremism in Pavlodar Region.
Earlier, a group of foreign nationals who evaded departure from Kazakhstan has been identified in Aktobe, and by court decision, they have been expelled from the country.
