The man who attacked three foreigners in Aktau will undergo a psychiatric check, Lada.kz writes citing Mangistau oblast Interior Department. The aggresive citizen of Aktau has been question by the police, the Department stated. “We are finding out whether the man attacked the tourists with his crutch. A psychiatric test was appointed to check on his sanity. If the doctors declare him sane, administrative charges will be brought against him. If psychological deviations are found, he will be sent to a psychiatric clinic for further treatment,” the Department’s press-service stated. The man attacked three foreigners on July 20 near Alatau mall in Aktau. Witnesses of the incident said that the attacker suddenly started beating up the three foreign travelers with a metal tube screaming “I hate foreigners”. After the fight, the Belgian citizen who was one of the three injured was taken to the hospital in an ambulance and his French friend waived the medical aid even in spite of his injured head. The three victims waived applying to police referring to lack of time as they were planning to leave Kazakhstan in the nearest time.
