Tengrinews.kz – Two camels were killed in a car accident in the Kostanay region. The collision occurred on the 59th kilometer of the Kostanay-Karabutak road.

A Geely vehicle struck two camels that were grazing unattended, resulting in the death of the animals. The driver was unharmed, but the accident caused material damage.

Police investigations revealed the camels’ owner to be a 50-year-old resident of the village of Yubileynoye in the Maylynsky district. The local police officer noted that this was not the first time the man had been penalized for violating livestock grazing rules.

The offender was charged under two administrative code articles: for violating traffic rules and regulations concerning the grazing of livestock. He has been fined approximately 45,000 tenge and is required to compensate for the damage caused.
