Internet television Tengrinews TV, a new project of Alash Media Group media holding, was presented at the international exhibition Internet Avenue-2013 in Almaty. The project will be launched in the nearest time, Tengrinews.kz reports. Head of Tengrinews TV Aleksander Zhuravlyov explained during the presentation that the new project would have several directions. First of all this will be a broadcast from different regions of the country, online-broadcast from the studio, Internet-programs and video-blogging where Internet users will be able to work together with TV professionals. According to head of the holding Batyr Kazybayev, Alash Media Group has all types of media that exists at the Kazakhstan media market. This enables its bilingual audience to obtain information from different Internet platforms. He stressed that convergence was what made the holding different from all the other media. This means that media products made, for example, by the radio can get to the pages of the website, be used in a TV broadcast or printed media, and vice versa. “All the whole work of Alash Media Group is based on a single information policy that is followed by all the platforms, even though they are all different and even though it is very difficult to unite radio format with TV format. Nevertheless, we are moving into two directions: common content and common information activities. Thшы means that the holding is like an information cube that can roll from on side to another side but does not fall apart,” Kazybayev said. The first international exhibition Internet Avenue-2013 was held in Baluan Sholak Sport Palace in Almaty on April 26-27. It was participated by representatives of different projects in Kazakhstan, CIS and Europe. According to the organizers, this event became one of the key events in the country’s Internet sector. This was a platform for the participants to discuss current issues of IT industry and attract new players to the market. Other projects of Alash Media Group were also presented at the exhibition: news websites Vesti.kz and Tengrinews.kz, the first blog-platform in Kazakh language Massaget, Alash Ainasy newspaper, STV channel and Tengri FM radio.
