Chairman of the Management Board of Nurbank Kantar Orynbayev has voluntarily resigned from his post. Consequently, Deputy Chairman Saken Akhmetov has replaced him, Tengrinews reports citing the press office of Nurbank.
Chairman of the Management Board of Nurbank Kantar Orynbayev has voluntarily resigned from his post. Consequently, Deputy Chairman Saken Akhmetov has replaced him, Tengrinews reports citing the press office of Nurbank.
In accordance with the decision of the Board of Directors of Nurbank, Saken Akhmetov took over the functions of the Acting Chairman of the Board on August 4.
Saken Akhmetov has a vast experience in banking and corporate sector. He worked for Halyk Bank, the third largest bank in Kazakhstan, from 1995 to 2002, where he was dealing with structured finance, SME and corporate business.
He joined the team of Nurbank in summer 2010 as a counselor and in January 2011 he was appointed Deputy Chairman. In Nurbank he was responsible for corporate and SME sector.
