Air Astana has launched direct flights from Astana and Almaty to Kiev starting from March 31 and April 1, 2013, correspondingly, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the company’s president Peter Foster. According to him, a 4-hour Astana-Kiev flight will be performed on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays on Embraer-190. Airbus-A320 will fly 5 hours from Almaty to Kiev on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. A minimum cost of a round trip ticket from Astana to Kiev will make 47,717 tenge ($318) in economy class and 210,717 tenge ($1,405) in business class.
