Winners of the international contest in Verona will perform in Astana Opera theater, Tengrinews reports citing the theater’s press-service. The concert Through the Pages of Favorite Operas will take place on December 21 in the Chamber Hall of the theater. Medet Chotabayev, Sundet Baigozhin, Alfia Karimova, leading singers of Astana Opera, will be among the singers. Kazakhstan opera singers Zhannat Baktai, Talgat Mussabayev, Dina Khamzina, Margarita Dvoretskaya, Gulzat Daurbayeva, Talgat Galeyev, Galina Chelpakova, Yeskendir Abzhanov will also participate in the concert. Art Director of Astana Opera house’s opera troupe Gyuzel Khabulina said that the concert will culminate in arias from La boheme by Giacomo Puccini and Maria Stuarda by Gaetano Donizetti that were performed by the Kazakhstan winners at the contest in Italy. "Alfiya Karimova is the only opera singer who performs the part of Maria Stuarda from Gaetano Donizetti's Maria Stuarda in Kazakhstan," Khaibulina said. The concert will be also participated by leading soloists of еру theater’s symphony orchestra - a wind quintet and a string quintet. They will perform orchestra parts from the famous operas like La traviata by Verdi and Bizet's Carmen," Gyuzel Khaibulina added. Fragments of Musogorskiy's Boris Godunov, The Queen of Spades by Tchaikovsky, Bernstein's Candide and others operas that are preformed very rarely in Astana will also be part of the music night.
