Kazakhstani national radio station Tengri FM will present a concert of the Tuvan throat singer Raddik Tyulyush at Dostyk Plaza Shopping Mall on October 3, Tengrinews reports.
The concert will be presented as a part of The Spirit of Tengri project in a new multimedia format. The organizers decided to combine ethnic motifs with contemporary electronic sounds. The famous Kazakhstani DJ Nariman Issenov will be accompanying the Tuvan artist. Tengri FM aims to present a multidimensional experience through a blend of traditional and experimental sounds as well as visuals. The concert will take place in a multimedia gallery Space that hosted Van Gogh Alive exhibition.
“Tyulyush is one of the greatest masters of throat singing in the world of ethnic music. Complexity and capacity of his singing talent truly amaze the listeners. It is a precious part of The Spirit of Tengri. We are honored to create a truly remarkable show of unique sound and atmosphere with Radik Tyulyush and the master of electronic music Nariman Issenov,” the Creative Director of Tengri FM Sergey Maiboroda said.
Tylyush performed at The Spirit of Tengri festival in June in Almaty. Uniqness of his talent is in his ability produce more than one pitches simultaneously over a fundamental pitch.
