It took 8 days to get Peter Parker speak Kazakh language. At least, that as long as it took to record the dubbing for the upcoming The Amazaring Spider-Man 2. The dubbing team of the Marvel film told Tengrinews about the process of bringing the well-known characters into the Kazakh language.

The team was thorough in everything they did, starting with the auditions that were conducted in February under the Sony Pictures guidance to the pieces in the script that had to be rewritten 15 times during the actual dubbing.

Merey Adzhibekov, a young theater actor, voiced the Spider-Man Peter Parker. It was not the first time Adzhibekov worked on the project. He participated in the dubbing of the first part of The Amazing Spider-Man.

“There was a lot of text and tons of emotional scenes. I perhaps was living through things with Peter Parker while I was voicing him. There were situations when my heart would skip a beat or even I cried a little when voicing. It was not difficult because it is the second film. I got used to him and when I step into the studio, I feel like I am Peter Parker, ” Adzhibekov said.

Spider-Man’s girlfriend Gwen Stacy is voiced by Alima Kairbekova. Maxwell Dillon is dubbed by Azamat Kanapiya. Aigerim Onalbek who previously worked on Vozvrashenie v A, Serdce Moe Astana and Man in Black 3 in the Kazakh language, is directing the Kazakh dubbing of the Amazing Spider-Man 2.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is the 7th film dubbed into Kazakh as a part of the cultural project of Bolashak Association, charity foundation Altyn Kyran and Marvel.

The film is going to hit the screens of Kazakhstani cinemas on April 24.
