Kazakhstan's Motor-Roller rock band is departing to Thailand in August to record an album in two weeks and give a concert in Pattaya city, Tengrinews.kz reports. The band performed in a range of post-soviet countries, Finland, the UAE and Turkey before. "This will be our concert in Silverlake Vineyard club that is one of the top sight in Pattaya. A lot of famous people have performed there. We will have only two weeks in Thailand, it is a very short time, but we are used to tough schedules. We used to record an album in an even shorter time before," the band's frontman Ilyas Autov said adding that preparations for the recording started in April. Motor-Roller band will perform both their old and new songs, the musician said. The band will also play its instrumental pieces and perhaps several cover songs. The concert will be held on August 7 in Pattaya city, Thailand. According to Motor-Roller's official website, the studio work will be guided by sound producer Yevgeny Stupka. The studio was founded by Chris Craker, who used to be a general manager and senior vice president of the International Division of Sony BMG Masterworks based in New York and London until 2008. Chris Craker has been at the very forefront of the music industry for over 25 years. Grammy nominated, he has also won numerous awards and been acclaimed for his activities as a performer, recording artist, composer, arranger, producer/engineer, record label founder, artist manager, author, critic, industry commentator, strategic adviser. The recording studio complex in Thailand, called Karma Sound Studios, works with iconic global bands like Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), Placebo, Jamiroquai and The Bride.
