Italian musician Son Pascal presented his new song and video called Zhanym Sol in Astana, BNews.kz reports. The song is in the Kazakh language and the main theme is played by the Kazakh national instrument called Kobyz. The singer says that he likes Kobyz, but Dombra remains his favorite Kazakh instrument. He recently started learning Kazakh and it seems easier to learn than Russian: "I speak more of a colloquial than a literary Kazakh," Pascal says. "I would like more people to learn the Kazakh language," he adds. Son Pascal's album is expected to be released before the Nauryz holiday (March 22). It will include 7-8 songs. "I don't think I will be selling it. Most probably, I will be passing it around. We will organize a tour from Semey to Aktau, from east to west," the performer shared his plans. Son Pascal has been living in Kazakhstan since 2011 and has no plans to leave the country so far. "I already feel local," the singer says. The Italian singer is famous in Kazakhstan first of all for his songs You Should Speak Kazakhsha, Englishman in Shymkent, Kozymnyn Karasy.
