French music concert to be held in Almaty in April's end

The concert of French music will take place at Zhas Sakhna theatre in Almaty on April 22 and 25, Tengrinews reports.

The audience will have an excellent opportunity to enjoy the performances of a graduate of the Royal College of Music and the Higher School of Music and Drama Guildhall Bulat Tynybekov (vocals, cello) from Kazakhstan, a graduate of the Italian Santa Cecilia Conservatory Zhadyra Amanova (vocals) and Diana Nurkanova (piano) as well as a multiple winner of international competitions Nartai Bekmoldinov (accordion) from Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan's cellist Bulat Tynybekov is a multiple winner of national and international competitions in Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey and the Czech Republic, laureate of Youth Union of Kazakhstan and National Prize Serper. In 2009, Bulat Tynybekov, a fellow of Kazakh education scholarship Bolashak, graduated with honors from the London Royal College of Music and the Higher School of Music and Drama Guildhall.

Bulat performed in the Royal Albert Hall (London), Konzerthaus (Berlin), Tonhalle (Zurich), Victoria Hall (Geneva), Barbican Hall (London), Cadogan Hall (London) for various audiences including Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Gerhard Schroeder, Prince Charles of Wales, Queen Elizabeth II and Lord Fraser.

The concert will feature world renowned French masterpieces of Jacques Offenbach, Camille Saint-Saens, Georges Bizet, Francis Poulenc, Edith Piaf, Joe Dassin, Michel Legrand, Charles Aznavour, Riccardo Cocciante, Yan Tiersen and Laurent Bouton.

The concert will start at 7 p.m. at #117 Abay Avenue.

Zhas Sakhna is a young theatre, it was opened on April 27, 2013 on an initiative of Kazakhstani intellectuals and arts patrons. Its main mission is to support young talents and provide a stage for modern Kazakh and world art.

It is also earning a name as a stage for prominent instrumental musicians and classical singers in Kazakstan. In February, a concert of Italian music was held in the theatre, where musicians, including Kazakh cellist and vocalist Bulat Tynybekov, performed compositions of Luigi Boccherini, Antonio Vivaldi, Giacomo Puccini, Giuseppe Verdi, Vincenzo Bellini, Eduardo di Capua, Lucio Dalla, Francesco Sartori, Nino Rota and Ennio Morricone.
