An announcement to the lucky Almaty natives and visitors: TengriFM radio is hosting a concert on March 8 to celebrate the International Women’s day at the Medeo Skating Rink. At 11 a.m., on March 8 come to Medeo to enjoy the performance of Meat The Beetles group that performs the best songs of the legendary Liverpool quartet. Kazakhstan’s Roxy Band and The Fridays will keep you entertained for the rest of the celebration. All visitors will be able to see the performance of figure skating Olympic champions Natalya Bestemyanova and Andrey Bukin. Kaspi bank invited the figure skaters along with the bronze medalist of Sochi Olypics Denis Ten. And these are not the only surprises that Kaspi bank prepared for the Medeo visitors, there will be more. The rates for the Medeo skating rink on March 8th are regular. Adults can have up to 6 hours of ice-skating for as little as $9. Students and pensioners pay $5 only. Children’s tickets cost $3. Medeo can be reached by bus #6 that departs from a bus stop near Kazakhstan hotel. In case you don’t like to wait you can always get a taxi or drive yourself. Don’t forget your skates!
