A presentation concert of a chamber orchestra and instrumental ensembles will be held on November 20 at Astana Opera theater, Tengrinews reports citing the press-service of the theater. The concert night will include masterpieces of the world famous composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Carl Weber, Edvard Grieg, Josef Strauss, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Francis Poulenc and Astor Piazzolla. The concert will culminate in the Carmen Suite of Rodion Shchedrin that is performed very seldom in Kazakhstan. The second part of the concert will present chamber duets, trios, quartettes, quintets, cello ensemble and horn ensemble that will give the audience a better understanding of the chamber orchestra instruments. All the musicians performing in the ensembles are from the theater’s symphony orchestra. Honored Artist of Kazakhstan Absal Mukhitdinov will be the orchestra director and master of the concert. He pointed out that the project was called to realize the creative ambitions of the best musicians of the orchestra.
