Patricia Kaas and Tarkan to perform on Astana Day

French singer Patricia Kaas, Turkish singer Tarkan and Russian stars will perform at a concert timed to the Astana Day this year, Kazakhstan Prime-Minister’s website reports citing deputy head of the organizational commission for preparation and holding the 15th anniversary of Astana Talgat Kolbachayev. According to him, a lot of foreign stars from different countries will be participating in this year’s celebrations. The concerts will give the event a holiday spree. “The world renowned star Patricia Kaas will express her warm wishes through her popular songs. Enchanting music of Igor Krutoi and foot tapping songs of Turkish singer Tarkan will leave no one in Astana indifferent,” Kolbachayev said. Gala-concert of Russian stars A Gift to Astana will be held on July 4. Igor Krutoi Night will be participated by the band led by Nikolai Ustyuzhanin. The concert will also have performances of famous Russian singers Valeriya, Aleksander Serov, Laima Vaikule, Nikolay Baskov, Igor Krutoi, Filipp Kirkorov, Valeriy Leontyev and Irina Allegrova. Tarkan’s concert is scheduled for July 5. A concert of Kazakhstan and foreign stars called Aksaktai ber, Astana! (Be proud, Astana!) will be held on July 6. “This concert is a wonderful gift for Astana’s young people. The concert Aksaktai ber, Astana! has already become a brand. Astana’s citizens and guests are looking forward to seeing this tremendous show and their favorite singers. The concert will be held on Saryarka cycling track this year,” Kolbachayev said. The solo concert of Patricia Kaas will be held on July 7. Her performance will be part of the Astana Day celebrations and will help to mark the Year of France in Kazakhstan. Last year’s celebration of the Astana Day included a performance of the world-famous Cirque du Soleil circus.
