Kazakhstani band Nectar, formerly known us LeLOO has signed a contract with Chicago-based label PLG Music, Tengrinews reports.

According to the member of the band Kairat Aubarikov, the American producers were impressed with their music and offered a contract for two albums. The musician said that the negotiations took over three month. Now Nectar will release songs under the American label. The company will take care of the promotions and tours for the band.

“We will also be joining the American music guild. In addition to the contract with PLG Music we will have an opportunity to qualify for Grammy,” Aubakirov said. The band has finished four out of 5 songs that will be included into their new album. The album will be released in the end of 2014 or the beginning of 2015. “We hope that this will be a breakthrough not only for us, but for the whole Kazakhstan music industry,” Aubakirov said.

In July, 2013 the English version of Nectar’s album For Those Who Feel Good was nominated for the Los Angeles Music Academy Award under Best Pop Album. “Our songs are rotated by American, German, and even Indian and UAE ratios. As for the Kazakhstanis, we are finishing up a concert program that includes songs that are rotated by foreign radios and known to world audience,” the musician said.
