Session Fest from A to Z welcomes jazz lovers to a 4 hours live show on April 4, Tengrinews reports.
The Event City Hall stage will bring famous Kazakhstani artists and aspirating artists working in jazz, blues, folk, rock and ethnic rock genres together at 6:00 pm.
The Jazz and Blues festival is dedicated to the work of a Kazakh legend Takhir Ibragimov who cultivated jazz culture in Kazakhstan. The festival also supports the singer and composer Zhanna Sattarova who is currently battling cancer in South Korea and needs financial support. The money from the ticket sales will be used to install a memorial stone of famous artist Leonid Oleinik.
The festival guests will enjoy quality music and an exciting program. The participants of the festival are Aigul Babayeva, Zhanna Orynbasarova, STEP band and Gaukhar Sattarova, Band Anna with Farkhad Ibragimov, Talisman Band, Karavan Express Band, Art Vocal, BugaraBu and Venera Urazbekova, Roksonaki band, Fridays, Jazz House (Iren Aravina and Gocha Seradze), Uncle Blues (Mukhtar Sunnatov), Airan Ladys trio, Nurgul Nugmanova, Nikolay Mikloshich, Slava Kalistratov on sax and Kvart A Plus band.
Tickets to the 100% live show can be purchased for $14 (2500 KZT) via Ticketon. The Event City Hall (former Cinema House) is located at Kazbek Bi, 20 at the crossing with Kaldayakova street.
Session Fest from A to Z opens at 6:00 pm on April 4.
