What roads are promised to be repaired and built in 2025 in Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz - The Ministry of Transport promised to build and repair roads with a total length of 13 thousand kilometers.

According to the Ministry, work is planned on the construction and reconstruction of 2.2 thousand kilometers, major and medium repairs of 6.6 thousand kilometers, as well as repairs of the local road network for 4.2 thousand kilometers.

Among them are highways:

Kalbatau - Maykapchagay;
Kurty - Konaev;
Kyzylorda - Zhezkazgan;
Uzynagash - Otar
Aktobe - Ulgaisyn;
Karaganda – Zhezkazgan;
Atyrau – Dossor;
bypass the city of Saryagash.
Zhezkazgan – Petropavlovsk;
Karaganda – Ayagoz – Bugaz;
Kandyagash – Shalkar – Irgiz;
Karabutak – Rudny – Kostanay;
Atyrau – Uralsk;
Astana – Korgalzhyn;
Atyrau – Fort Shevchenko;
Turkestan – Shaulder;
Chapai – Saykhin;
as well as the construction of a horse-drawn bridge in Semey.

Earlier, Minister of Transport Marat Karabayev announced that an additional 4000 kilometers of toll sections will be introduced in 2025. Considering that today such a system operates on only 3.2 thousand kilometers of roads throughout the country, the number of toll sections will more than double.

"At the moment, a toll road system with a length of 3200 kilometers operates throughout the country. In 2024, revenue amounted to 48 billion tenge. This year, an additional 4 thousand kilometers of toll sections will be introduced, from which revenues will amount to 60 billion tenge, and next year they can reach 100 billion tenge," he said.
