Tengrinews.kz – According to the Akimat, a section of Tauyelsizdik Avenue will be closed for medium-level repairs.
From May 15 to May 20, roadworks will begin on Tauyelsizdik Avenue. The section from Kazhimukana Street to Kuishe Dina Street will undergo medium repairs to the road surface.
During the repairs, traffic will be limited on this section.
Traffic will be organized in stages: vehicles will be able to move along one side of the road in both directions.
Drivers and pedestrians are advised to account for possible route changes and plan their paths in advance.
Where else are roadworks ongoing?
It’s worth noting that repair works are underway on more than 10 streets in the capital.
Completely closed streets:
- Kaisanova Street – From Bukhara Zhyrau Street to Tauyelsizdik Avenue. Closed from April 20 to August 20. Traffic will be rerouted through internal courtyards.
- Kuyshi Dina Street – From "Miras" school to Zhumabaeva Avenue. Works from April 9 to August 30.
- Moldagalieva Street – From E-41 Street to E-32 Street. Closed from April 29 to August 30.
Traffic is being directed along alternative routes.
Partially closed streets:
- Kaldayakova Street – From Tauyelsizdik Avenue to Nazhymedenov Street. Closed from May 14 to May 25.
- Kurshim Street – From Bolashak Street to Zhanakonyss Street. Restrictions from May 11 to May 18. Traffic will be organized on one side in both directions.
- Ch. Aytmatov Street – From Moldagalieva Street to Uly Dala Avenue. Closed from May 11 to May 17, with similar traffic management.
- Arkar Bridge (M1) – Closed from May 10 to May 20.
- Abylay Khan Avenue – From Manas Street to B. Momyshuly Avenue. Restrictions from May 9 to May 13.
- Zhumabaeva Avenue – From Momyshuly Avenue to Balkantau Street. Closed from May 9 to May 19.
- Alash Highway – From 191 Street to 69 Street. Repairs from May 8 to May 13.
- Kenesary Street – From Sembinov Street to Brusilovsky Street. Restrictions from May 5 to May 15.
- Interchange at the intersection of Baisekova Street and N. Tlendiev Avenue – Closed from May 1 to August 1. Traffic is being directed through a temporary road with six lanes.
