Tengrinews.kz - The Ministry of Internal Affairs has developed a draft law titled "On the Prevention of Offenses," which includes provisions for rewarding citizens for their participation in maintaining public order. Citizens will have the opportunity to receive letters of appreciation, certificates, monetary rewards, and other forms of recognition.
According to the document, individuals who submit video recordings of traffic violations can expect monetary compensation based on a percentage of the fine imposed on the violator, as well as benefits from local authorities, such as free public transportation or parking. Volunteers will also have the option to designate a charitable organization to which their reward will be donated.
The exact percentage of the fine that will be awarded to the video submitters is not specified in the draft.
If multiple individuals record a violation, the reward will be given to the person who first submits the video that meets the established criteria.
