Three teams of Kazakhstan team Astana will take part in the third Silk Way rally, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the team's representative Denis Berezovskiy. The famous rally will start on July 9 at the Red Square in Moscow. According to Berezovskiy, Astana will participate in trucks and offroaders category. Driver Arthur Ardavichus and navigator Zhanat Zhalimbetov will take part in the rally on KamAZ supplied by the Russian team KAMAZ-master. Dmitry Filonets and Berezovskiy will take part in the offroaders category. They have been participating in the tournaments on their own Nissan Pathfinder for two years already. Andrey Cherednikov and Yevgeniy Kuznetsov will cover the route on their “production” category ISUZU D-MAX assembled in Portugal. The drivers have paid the registration fee of 3 thousand Euro ($4.2 thousand) per car our of their own funds. This year participants of the Silk Way will cover 4,126 km in Russia. The route lies though Lipetsk, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Stavropol and Maikop and finishes in Sochi on July 16.
