Drive-2011 festival will be held for all car-fans in Almaty. Car-fans from all over Kazkahstan will gather at the territory of one of the country's largest mall Aport on October 2, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the event's organizers.
From the very morning the drivers will be showing their cars and experienced jury will choose the best exterior and interior tuning, the best sound quality and artistic painting of the cars. The visitors will be able to see car tricks and the organizers will give generous awards to car owners. The prizes include tires, accumulators and motor oils.
Some of the professionals have already confirmed participation: team of Anton Li with dragster, Aleksei Gerassimov's team with gymkhana buggy, Boraldai Motorplex team and others. A special interactive contest called Park to the chip will be held specially for women.
The first festival is organized by Kazakhstan forum Vse Vmeste and car society iDrive.kz. “The main objective of Drive-2011 festival is creation of common platform for all representatives of Kazakhstan's car industry that will be interesting for participation both for regular car-fans and professionals,” organizers said.
