Zurab Tsereteli's personal exhibition opens in Almaty 08 октября 2015, 20:59

Kasteev's Museum of Art presents a personal exhibition of Georgia's prominent contemporary artist Zurab Tsereteli on October 8 - November 9.

Kasteev's Museum of Art presents a personal exhibition of Georgia's prominent contemporary artist Zurab Tsereteli from October 8 to November 9, Tengrinews reports.

The exhibition includes paintings and sculptures created by Tsereteli in the past five years. Zurab Tsereteli’s art is known for its monumentality and distinct style. Throughout his career, Tsereteli created thousand of graphic works, panting and hundreds of sculptures. Paintings of the Georgian artist fascinates with vivid colors, thick and strong strokes, deformed figures, broken perspective and proportions bringing in hints of folklore art.

 

In his art, Tsereteli aims at a synthesis of fantasies and reality on the canvas through colors, undertones and images. A certain combination of time representation and reality along with kindness and love towards people are at heart of the artist's work. 

The artist himself will take part a press conference at 3:00 p.m. and the opening of the exhibition at 4:00pm on October 8. 

Kasteev’s Museum of Art is located at 22/1 Koktem 3 microrayon (residential area).
