Tengrinews.kz - A Russian woman was fined almost 184 thousand tenge for smoking on board an aircraft.
It is reported that upon arrival of the flight from Incheon (South Korea) to Astana, police officers at the airport detained the offender.
"During the inspection, it was found that a 49-year-old Russian citizen was smoking a cigarette in the aircraft's restroom. The foreign national was held administrative responsibility and fined 184,600 tenge for smoking on the plane," the police department's press service reported.
It is also noted that since the beginning of the year, the transport police department has held 351 people from aircraft for administrative offenses. Of these, 173 were for appearing in public places while under the influence of alcohol, 136 for smoking on board, and 19 for minor hooliganism.
