Tengrinews.kz - A 57-year-old Kazakh citizen who came to Phuket on holiday drowned on the first day of his holiday.

According to Thai media, the incident took place on Karon beach on 31 July. The police said that immediately after checking into the hotel, the tourist went to the beach. At 2:50 pm, police received a report from ambulance staff that the country's guest had drowned.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan confirmed the information about the death of a citizen of our country at a Thai resort, saying that there is no additional information on the incident.
