Tengrinews.kz – The White House has published an article naming the countries that supported Donald Trump’s plan to end the war between Israel and Hamas.
In the material released on the official website of the U.S. administration, the support of key international leaders is highlighted — including that of Kazakhstan.
The White House quoted the Press Secretary to the President of Kazakhstan, stating:
"Kazakhstan views this initiative as a unique opportunity and a crucial step toward resolving the situation in the Middle East, strengthening intergovernmental trust, and establishing a lasting and just peace in the region."
As a reminder, Presidential Press Secretary and Assistant Ruslan Zheldibay wrote on September 30 that Kazakhstan welcomes the Comprehensive Peace Plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump to resolve the conflict in Gaza.
Trump’s peace plan
According to the plan published by the White House, within 72 hours of Israel’s approval, all hostages held by Hamas must be released. In exchange, Israel will release hundreds of Palestinian prisoners and gradually withdraw its troops from the Gaza Strip.
The plan further stipulates that Gaza will become a demilitarized zone, free from terrorism. Hamas will relinquish all control over the administration of the Palestinian territory. Members of the group who lay down their arms may be granted amnesty or allowed to leave the region.
The plan does not allow for the annexation or occupation of the enclave by Israel.
