Tengrinews.kz – American electronics manufacturer Apple has unveiled the new iPhone 17, its slim version iPhone 17 Air, and the more powerful iPhone 17 Pro, according to RBC.
Apple streamed the presentation of its new products on its social media platforms.
It is noted that the iPhone 17 is equipped with the A19 chip, featuring a six-core CPU and five-core GPU. According to Apple, the iPhone 17 offers eight hours longer battery life than its predecessor and supports the Qi2 wireless charging standard for faster battery recharging. The screen size is 6.3 inches.
The new iPhone is available in five colors: black, lilac, blue, green, and white.
The slim iPhone 17 Air, according to Apple, boasts “MacBook Pro-level computing power.” Additionally, a third version of the smartphone was presented — the iPhone 17 Pro, available in three colors: blue, gray, and orange. The Pro version has a processor with one more core than the Air.
The iPhone 17 starts at $799, the Air version starts at $999, the Pro version starts at $1099. Sales will begin on September 19.
Apple also unveiled the Apple Watch Series 11, which features an ultra-thin case and 5G support. Alongside the watches, new colorful watch bands were introduced — in green, peach, black, and blue, with printed designs.
During the presentation, Apple also revealed the new AirPods Pro 3. One of the main innovations is real-time translation from different languages and hearing aid functionality. Additionally, the earbuds received an updated noise cancellation system.
Later, media reported that Apple's stock price fell by 1.4% to $234 per share after the presentation of the iPhone 17 and its two versions — Air and Pro. According to the article, this is based on NASDAQ exchange data.
